Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Yuzi ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Rehome iOS application (the "App"). We've tried to keep it plain and short. If anything is unclear, email rehome@yuzi.nl.

Photos you choose to redesign

When you tap "Redesign", the photo you selected — together with the prompt that describes the style you picked — is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the new image. We do not store a copy of your photo on our servers. Google processes the request to produce the result and, per their terms applicable to API customers, does not use the content to train their models.

Generated redesigns and gallery

Generated images and the metadata about each generation (style chosen, furniture mode, timestamp, prompt) are stored locally on your device in the App's database. They are not transmitted to us. Deleting an item from the in-app Gallery removes it from your device.

Purchases and subscription state

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details, or Apple ID. We receive only the anonymous receipt that tells the App which tier you've unlocked.

Diagnostics

If you opt in to share App-related crash and usage diagnostics with Apple, Apple may share anonymous crash logs with us. This data never includes your photos or personal information.

Rehome is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the App and shared information with us, contact rehome@yuzi.nl and we'll address it.

6. Your rights

Because most of your data lives on your device, you control it directly: delete a redesign in the Gallery to delete it from the device; delete the App to wipe everything. For any data we do hold (limited to anonymous receipt records via Apple), email rehome@yuzi.nl with your request and we'll respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

Photos sent for redesign are processed in real time and are not retained on our servers. Subscription receipt records are kept for as long as needed to validate your entitlement and to meet Apple's reporting requirements.

8. Security

All network requests from Rehome use HTTPS. Local storage is protected by iOS data protection. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we apply current best practices.

9. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, surface a notice inside the App on next launch.
