Getting started

What makes a good photo?

Wide framing. Stand in a corner of the room, hold the phone in landscape (or portrait — both work), and capture as much of the floor, walls, and ceiling as you can. Even, daylight-style lighting helps. Avoid extreme close-ups, mirrors, or people in the shot.

The result looks wrong — what can I do?

AI is non-deterministic. Tap Regenerate on the result screen to get a different take with the same inputs. You can also try the other furniture mode (Keep my furniture vs New furniture) or add a one-line note (e.g. "warm evening light, no rug") to guide the model.

Why did it change my window / wall colour / floor?

Rehome instructs the model to preserve the architecture and the view through your windows, but minor drift can happen — especially with strong style choices like Industrial Loft. Regenerate, or pick a softer style.

Subscriptions and billing

How do I cancel?

Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name at the top → SubscriptionsRehomeCancel Subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the current period ends.

How do I restore purchases on a new device?

Sign in to the same Apple ID, install Rehome, then go to Settings → Restore Purchases inside the App.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com using your Apple ID. We don't have access to your payment information and can't issue refunds ourselves.

When does my monthly quota reset?

On the first of each calendar month (UTC). Unused redesigns do not roll over.

Account and privacy

How do I delete my data?

Almost everything lives on your device — deleting the App removes it. Inside the App, you can also long-press a row in the Gallery to delete an individual redesign. To request deletion of subscription receipt records, email rehome@yuzi.nl.

Are my photos used to train AI?

No. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Troubleshooting

"Couldn't generate a redesign" / network errors

Check your connection (Rehome needs the internet to talk to the AI). If you're on cellular, make sure cellular data is allowed for Rehome in Settings → Cellular. Try again — a transient API error usually resolves on retry.

The app is stuck on a loading state

Force-quit the App (swipe up from the bottom and flick Rehome away), then re-open. If it persists, restart your iPhone and try again.

I think I found a bug.
